What exactly is a credit?
A finished article — the research, the writing, the featured image, the design render and the publish. Nothing is metered separately. One credit covers an article at the Standard writing model; Enhanced costs 2 and Maximum 3, and the number is shown on the card before you spend it. If a run fails after being charged, the credits come back automatically.
Do the cheaper writing models skip anything?
No. On every paid plan, every writing level gets live research, citations, the SEO fields, internal linking and the duplicate check. What the higher levels add is a stronger model, a longer length budget, deeper search, and a layout template that places photos and HTML figures — bar charts, comparison matrices, step lists — where they earn their place. Standard is right for everyday publishing; Enhanced and Maximum are for the pieces where the writing itself has to carry it. The free trial's 3 articles get live research too.
How many articles will I actually get through?
Roughly: publishing once a week is about 4 articles a month, two or three times a week is about 15, and every day is about 30 — at the Standard model, where one article is one credit. Pick the plan that covers the rhythm you want, and top up if a month runs hot.
Why are automations unlimited on paid plans?
Because your monthly articles already decide how much can be published. A daily schedule uses about 30 articles a month all by itself, so capping the number of schedules on top of that only stops you organising your work the way you want to — one automation per topic area, say, or one per site.
What happens if I run out mid-month?
Schedules pause themselves and we email you — nothing is charged to your card without you asking. They resume by themselves when the monthly allowance refills, or straight away if you buy a top-up.
Do unused articles roll over?
No. Each month starts fresh at your plan's allowance. Top-ups sit in their own pot on top of it, are spent after the allowance, and last twelve months from purchase.
What happens on a multilingual site?
If your site runs WPML or Polylang, BlogTend offers “All site languages”: one run writes the article natively in every language your site publishes, and each language is charged as its own article at the writing model you picked. The cost is shown on the form before you spend anything, and you can always pick a single language instead.
Does a failed or skipped article cost me anything?
No. A generation that fails is refunded automatically, and an automation that finds nothing new worth writing is never charged in the first place — the duplicate check runs before the credit is spent, not after.
Can I connect more than one site?
Yes, up to your plan's limit, and your articles are shared across all of them however you like. Each automation publishes to one site, so a plan with several sites usually means several automations.
Can I change plan or cancel?
Any time, from the billing page — it opens the Stripe portal where you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for, and everything already published stays where it is.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, the first-month guarantee: if you subscribe on blogtend.com and nothing gets published to your site in your first 30 days, claim your first month back from the Billing page in one click, as long as you have generated fewer than 3 articles. It is once per account. Beyond that, credits already spent on generated articles are not refundable, because the work has been done and paid for on our side. If something went wrong on our end, open a support ticket and we will sort it out.
