AI blog post generator · Built for WordPress

The AI blog writer for WordPress that publishes — not just drafts

Give it a topic. BlogTend researches it on the live web, writes the post with its sources, adds a featured image and your Yoast or Rank Math fields, then publishes to WordPress — or saves a draft.

Two minutes, start to finish

Watch one article go from a topic to a published post

The real product, recorded end to end: connecting a site, setting a topic and a rhythm, the run itself, and the finished article live on the blog.

Built for WordPress

An autoblog that behaves like a careful editor

Everything a post needs before it goes live, done in one run — and nothing goes live unless you chose that.

  • Connects without a plugin

Create an Application Password in your WordPress profile and paste it in — about two minutes, revocable any time. If your host blocks that, the optional connector plugin on WordPress.org does the same job.

  • Research first, with sources

Each article starts with live web research — on every paid plan, and on your first 3 articles on the Free plan. Sources are fetched and checked before they are cited, and the article lists them.

  • Yoast and Rank Math filled in

Whichever SEO plugin you run is detected when you connect. The SEO title, meta description and focus keyword are written into it on paid plans.

  • Publish, draft, or hold for review

Send each article live, save it as a WordPress draft, or keep it in BlogTend until you send it. You get an email either way.

  • Fits your theme and your categories

Articles follow your saved style and your site's colours, and are filed under the categories your site already has — it asks before inventing one.

  • Multilingual sites too

On WPML or Polylang sites one run can write the article natively in each of your site's languages, each charged as its own article.

First month back if nothing gets published

Subscribe on blogtend.com. If nothing is published to your site in your first 30 days and you have generated fewer than 3 articles, claim that first month back from the Billing page in one click. Once per account.

What we do not promise: rankings or traffic. BlogTend researches, writes, fills the SEO fields and publishes; search engines decide the rest.

How it works

From WordPress login to first post in minutes

  1. The Connect your WordPress site form: site URL, a name, and an Application Password.
    1

    Connect your WordPress site

Self-hosted WordPress, or WordPress.com on a Business plan or above. Paste an Application Password, or install the connector plugin if your host needs it.

  2. The New automation form: how often to publish, and the writing level with its credit cost.
    2

Name a topic and a rhythm

One article now, a list in bulk, or a schedule that writes daily, weekly or monthly. Only the subject is required.

  3. A finished run: brief, research, write, design, optimise and publish all ticked, and the post live.
    3

Review it or let it post

It researches, writes, adds the image and SEO fields, then publishes or leaves a draft in WordPress for you.

Questions

Do I need to install a WordPress plugin?
No. BlogTend connects with a WordPress Application Password, which is built into WordPress. The connector plugin, listed on WordPress.org, is optional — use it if your host blocks Application Passwords. Either credential can be revoked at any time.
Does it work with WordPress.com?
Yes, on WordPress.com Business plans and above, which allow the access BlogTend needs. Self-hosted WordPress works on any host.
My site isn't on WordPress. Does it still work?
Yes. Shopify, Webflow and Wix connect in one click, and any other site can receive finished articles by signed webhook. The research, writing and images are the same everywhere.
Will it publish without me seeing it?
Only if you choose that. Each article or automation can publish live, save a WordPress draft, or wait in BlogTend until you send it. You can switch between the three at any time.
Which SEO plugins does it support?
Yoast SEO and Rank Math. The one you use is detected when you connect, and on paid plans the SEO title, description and focus keyword are written into it. BlogTend does not promise rankings — it fills the fields and structures the article; search engines decide the rest.
Where do the facts come from?
From live web research, on paid plans and on the free trial's 3 articles: sources are fetched and checked before they are cited, and the article lists them.
What does an article cost?
One credit at the Standard writing level, 2 at Enhanced and 3 at Maximum — research, writing, featured image and publishing included. The Free plan includes 3 credits to try it; paid plans start at 20 a month. Failed runs are refunded automatically.
Will the articles sound generic?
Each run starts from a brief with an angle and an audience, and on paid plans from live research, so the article is built on specifics rather than filler. It follows your saved article style, and you can save every post as a WordPress draft and edit it there before it goes live.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from the billing page. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, and everything already published stays where it is.
What if nothing gets published?
Claim your first month back. If you subscribe on blogtend.com and nothing gets published to your site in your first 30 days, you can claim that first month back from the Billing page in one click, as long as you have generated fewer than 3 articles. It is once per account.
Do I need a website to try it?
No. Your first article can be a preview: BlogTend researches and writes it in full, with its sources and featured image, and keeps it in your account. It uses one of your free articles. When you connect WordPress (about two minutes), Shopify, Webflow or Wix, you move it to your site in one click.
Is AI-written content OK for Google?
Google's published guidance is that it rewards helpful, original content however it is produced, and treats content made mainly to manipulate rankings as spam, whoever wrote it. BlogTend is built for the first kind: each article starts from research, cites its sources, and can wait as a draft for your edit. It does not promise rankings.
