Questions

Is BlogTend on the Shopify App Store?
Yes. You can install it from the Shopify App Store, or start on blogtend.com and connect your store from the Sites page. Both publish to the same Shopify blog.
Which should I choose: blogtend.com or the App Store?
Start on blogtend.com if you want the Free plan with no card, one account for several sites, billing directly with BlogTend, or the first-month guarantee: if nothing gets published in your first 30 days and you have generated fewer than 3 articles, claim that month back from Billing. Install from the App Store if you would rather have the app inside Shopify admin and pay through your Shopify bill.
I already have a blogtend.com subscription. What happens if I install the app?
Your existing blogtend.com subscription stays as it is. An account created from inside Shopify is billed through Shopify instead.
Can I review posts before they appear on my store?
Yes. Send articles as drafts and they sit unpublished under Blog posts in Shopify until you publish them.
What permissions does it need?
Reading and writing blog content, and reading and writing files for the images it uploads. Uninstalling the app from Shopify admin revokes that access immediately.
Will it get my store more traffic?
Nobody can honestly promise that. BlogTend researches, structures and publishes articles regularly, with sources and a featured image; how search engines rank them is up to them.
Do I need a website to try it?
No. Your first article can be a preview: BlogTend researches and writes it in full, with its sources and featured image, and keeps it in your account. It uses one of your free articles. When you connect WordPress (about two minutes), Shopify, Webflow or Wix, you move it to your site in one click.
Is AI-written content OK for Google?
Google's published guidance is that it rewards helpful, original content however it is produced, and treats content made mainly to manipulate rankings as spam, whoever wrote it. BlogTend is built for the first kind: each article starts from research, cites its sources, and can wait as a draft for your edit. It does not promise rankings.
